      Some of you may not know that the first Saturday in October is World Card Making Day!

What is it?

World Card Making Day is a holiday especially for card makers around the world to:

Celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family

Kick off (and get a head start on) the holiday card-making season

The first Saturday of each October, kicking off the holiday card-making season, the most popular time for creating and sharing handmade greetings.

Who can Join In?

The card-making community worldwide, including hobbyists, beginning card makers, manufacturers of card-making products, retail sellers of products, educators, and press are invited to come together to celebrate this holiday and creative passion.

If you'd like to join in and celebrate WCD yourself, you can view some of the ideas listed here and perhaps set about organizing your very own WCD event.

If you're just after some creative card making inspiration, you can view the WCD Gallery...and of course you can also upload and share your own cardmaking projects there as well.

     Are you going to celebrate World Cardmaking Day this year?  It's lots of fun and you get to see other's cards that may inspire you!

My Events:-

    As at the moment I have a Stamp-A-Stack of 10 Christmas Cards for $15.00,  2 each of 5 designs (envelopes extra - $1.50 each)...  going at my home if anyone is interested in attending. Please Email Me if you want details to attend.

    If you have a paper cutter and snail adhesive or double sided tape, please bring them just as it will save time waiting in turn to use mine. Thanks!

    I am also trying to organize more events, hopefully I can do this too.
