SNEAK PEAK from the STAMPIN' UP! NEW 2010-2011 CATALOGUE #2

A few posts back I did my first sneak peek from the upcoming new catalogue which will be available to you from the 1st of September...

Here is my sneak peek #2...

I made an ice cream in a cone with a cherry on top.

The layers of the ice cream are made with the scallop punch

and the cone I designed myself and the cherry is made from punches too.

I also used new products from the new catalogue aswell, but can't tell

you what they are just yet...

When I went to my first Stampin' Up! Convention this year (what a blast!), we all received some fabulous stamp sets plus other products.

I have made this card using two of the upcoming stamp sets and an embossing folder (can't tell you what they are until September 1st when the new catty is released)...

  and also one of the sets called Cottage Garden from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue, which by the way, finishes on the 31st of August (my birthday!)...

Scrapbooking Pages Using Stampin' Up! Products

I have been sorting out my craft room and trying to get my projects ready for my upcoming classes.

I thought I would just pop in here and show you a 12"x12" double layout I made the other night for a girl/boy birthday theme.

This was made as a  special request.

Stampin' Up! Punches - One Project - Two Punches Used Two Ways

Sue's Punches Mini Tutorial

Today I was playing around with my craft punches and I came up with a neat idea I thought was cool so I am sharing it here with all of you.

Hope you have a go at this as it would make nice little tags for your cards, boxes, purses etc, even on your scrapbooking pages.

Ok here is my idea that I came up with...

First of all I took my Corner Rounder Punch and used it to round the corners of my card stock (only one corner done in these photos)...

Then I removed the bracket thingy (proper name escapes me for now)...

I then tool my Horizontal Slit Punch and placed the bracket thingy onto it...

Next I placed my card stock corners in it and punch the slots in all 4 corners ...

NOTE... Usually the horizontal slot punch has  only been punched in a horizon or vertical line but I have punched it on an "angle" in the corners...as shown below...

 

I cut a smaller piece of card stock and slide the 4 corners into the 4 slots...

   

and as I mentioned at the beginning of this post...t would make nice little tags for your cards, boxes, purses etc, even on your scrapbooking pages.

Stampin' Up! products for a special card - SAD NEWS - Update

Sorry for the long time between posts. As I mentioned here will explain.

On Thursday we went to the funeral of my DH's Mum. I was asked by him and the family to make a special card to say Thank You to the staff and friends of the Nursing Home where his Mum had spent quite a few year as a volunteer and also spent her final years there.

Here is the card I came up with, Mum loved Roses... and they loved it...

Although I said in my  last post, I may not post for a few days, I still felt I had to post this card.

Last night I sat and made a Sympathy card for my dear friend Leanne as they lost a member of their family a little while ago also. I posted it to them today.  Hope they like it.

Stampin' Up! Products to make a Star Book Photo Album - Class

I had a class today and there were 8 ladies whom I taught to make a Star Book Photo Album. It was a 6" x 6" book and boy did we all have a ball chatting and creating.

I would firstly love to thank Maria (my eldest daughter's mother-in-law to be) for being such a wonderful hostess and sharing her home with us to enjoy crafting together. 

Hi Ladies! ...

Thanks also to all the ladies who attended my class at Maria's, it was a lot of fun to teach all of you and hope to do it again very soon. All the ladies had a great time learning and were so excited with the finished Star Book Albums they created.

I was so proud of all of them as they have never done this before but they had so much fun learning.

Here are some photos that I took while they were making their projects and also when they had finished them... I  Love them ALL!!!

Tracey and I had so much fun at the Newcastle Farmers Markets today. Thanks for another fun filled day Tracey.

We met heaps of lovely people, shared our passion for out love of craft & Stampin' Up! so I thought I would say HI to all those who visited us there today and hope to see you next time we are there too.

Tracey and I had a fantastic visit over at the farmers markets at the The Entrance farmers markets last weekend and boy did we have fun.  We met some fantastic people there, who all shared our passion for stamping, cardmaking and scrapbooking.  And if you were one of the people that we met there " HELLO, IT WAS AWESOME TO SEE YOU THERE AND WONDERFUL TO MEET YOU". We love going out there and sharing our knowledge with you all, we get such a buzz from seeing your faces light up when we share some advice with you.

As  always, when we are there, we love to give away FREE GOODIES. And the winner from today is...
